First day, success!

We made it to our first campsite around four. We decided to stop west of Chicago so we didn't have to try and get through Chicago in rush hour. The kids did great. We only had to stop to feed Levi two times.
He did a lot of this, which might explain why he is cooing in his little travel bed right now.
We got some good smiles too!
The girls had fun washing dinner dishes believe it or not!
Kelsey got a snuggle with Levi in his little bed.
Phil closed the night as usual, reading the devotion. Tomorrow we plan to get another 6 hours of driving in.
To answer my question before when I asked what we forgot, we figured it out. Chloe's retainer. One thing that is not easily replaced. Thanks to Andy Schultz for going to our house, getting the retainer, going to the UPS store, and shipping it two day air so we can get it from a campsite in Maine!!
Now we are listening to the rain hit our camper and praising God for a great first day! Thanks for reading!
