3 states in a day

Yesterday was a great day. After a night of heavy rain and not great sleep, then braving the frog and June bugs in the shower we packed up and headed to explore cape cod. We first went to Crosby beach. The kids had a blast getting shells. It was cold, we all had jackets on, yet the kids managed to get all wet in the water. Who can blame them though? 

Some guy walking the beach found a horseshoe crab, that was super fun to see!

We them went to your cape cod potato chip factory. Unfortunately they wouldn't let us take any pictures, but it was a fun place to visit. We got 2 small bags of chips after the tour- I liked the feta kind. Yummy.

Did you know it takes four pounds of potatoes to make one pound of chips?

We then headed to our friends house in CT. We had to stop in RI for ice cream though...

We got to our friends house at 6:30 and had some yummy pizza. They offered for us to spend the night, so we got a treat of sleeping in a real bed!! It was fun to catch up with them. I forgot to get a picture when Jeremy was home, but here we are with Rachel this morning.

We are now headed for NYC! Have a great day!!
