Virginia beach

This is the first night it has been hot at night! It's almost ten and still really hot? Weird feeling!! 

We left Gettysburg this morning and headed to Virginia beach. We drove through Delaware thinking we needed to see that state!! Of course we had to stop for ice cream! It's been fun to stop at little mom and pop ice cream shops! (Thanks Shane Raymond for the inspiration!)

The cows were out in back of the restaurant! 

We ended up in Virginia beach around six. Levi wasn't loving the car ride today. Despite the air conditioner being on he kept getting so sweaty.

The kids got to swim tonight and Phil and I enjoyed hanging out by the pool. 

My favorite part at the pool was the parents who brought a car seat for their two year old and buckled him in it while they swam. I obviously don't know the whole story, he could have a problem and not be able to go in the water, but it just looked funny.

It's hot here!! No need for a heater tonight, air conditioning sounds nice now!!

We have some drunk people lighting fireworks of by us and yelling really loud. Fun. 

It's supposed to rain all night tonight through tomorrow night. Hopefully we will have some nice weather so we can go for a dip at the beach!
