Maine

Well, our four hour drive ended up taking seven yesterday, but that is not a bad thing. We stopped yesterday morning at a place where they make maple syrup. They weren't making any this time of year, but we could see the equipment and watched a video in how they do it. This place tapped 3,000 trees. We got to taste some of the syrup too, it was very good of course!

We had to stop a couple times for Levi, he wasn't loving the car yesterday. He's getting used to diaper changes in the van!

We had to stop at one of Vermont's covered bridges of course!
 This one was from 1891.

We got to New Hamsphire and were amazed at the beauty in the mountains. Amazed is not a strong enough word though.

We also decide that in order to say we have been to a state we either need to sleep there or have ice cream there. Well, we weren't sleeping in New Hamshpire, so we had to have ice cream. Kayla got play doh ice cream, I didn't know they made such a thing.

We ended up in Scarborough, Maine last night. Out camp site was right on a beach, it was so beautiful.

Last night we also cleaned out the van and did laundry. Laundry cost 18 dollars, but at least we have clean clothes! We also had electricity last night, and our camper has heated mattress pads, so it was a nice warm night!
